New Day Pack with Aeroshape Carrying System Features Recycled Materials and Resource Saving Construction

Idstein, Germany (April 26, 2022)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Jack Wolfskin, the leading UK outdoor gear and apparel manufacturer, is introducing a new sustainable daypack that prioritizes performance through sustainability-conscious construction.

The Terraventure 22L daypack, a sustainability milestone for the brand, is constructed entirely of recycled fibers, from the sewing thread to the webbing and the zippers, and the manufacturing process upcycles over fourteen 1-liter PET bottles per pack.

Additionally, the body and base of the pack are made with recycled ripstop polyester, and the Aeroshape Carrying System (ACS) is made with recycled polyester air mesh and Bloomfoam™ algae padding, a material particularly sustainable as a renewable raw material. During the production of Bloomfoam™, 14-liters of water are purified from algae and returned to the natural cycle in drinking water.

The sustainable construction of the pack does not sacrifice performance, delivering comfort and ventilation with the Aeroshape Carrying System (ACS). This three-layer recycled mesh design covers a cushioned, highly ventilated shaped panel to improve air circulation that cools the back over long miles in the heat. The unique design provides freedom of movement, superior climate control, and extra comfort on the back, shoulders, and waist.

The Terraventure daypack has a 22L capacity for carrying clothing, food, and essentials. An exterior pocket enables easy access to water and accessories, and attachment loops on the side are ideal for carrying hiking poles. Finally, a padded waist belt provides extra comfort and support for heavier loads.
