Jessie Diggins Salomon TV Episode to Premiere at Yellowstone Ski Festival Presented by Salomon
November 21, 2017
OGDEN, Utah – Jessie Diggins, one of the United States’ top nordic skiers heading into the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, will be the star of the show at the Yellowstone Ski Festival this month. On November 24 in West Yellowstone, Montana, Salomon will host the world premiere of the Jesse Diggins’ Salomon TV episode, which showcases Diggins’ path from junior nordic skiing in Minnesota to the top step of the World Cup podium.
“My life is completely structured around skiing and getting faster,” says Diggins. “I love the process of improving, whether it’s through technique alterations or refining my diet and rest cycles. The episode does a great job at exhibiting my day-to-day life.”
The episode goes behind the scenes with Diggins to showcase her training regiment, race-day preparations and overall lifestyle as she prepares for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. To produce the episode, cameras followed Diggins to her home town of Afton, Minnesota, to capture a day in the life as one of America’s fastest nordic skiers.
“For over 30 years the Yellowstone Ski Festival has attracted thousands of nordic skiers for a week of skiing clinics, competitive races and a variety of presentations,” says Bryan Cook, Salomon’s U.S. nordic community marketing manager. “This is the perfect venue to premiere Jessie’s episode as the atmosphere is sure to be electrifying.”
The premiere will take place on Friday, November 24 at 6:00 p.m. local time. There will be prize giveaways from Salomon, Swix, Bose and Nuun, and the winner of the Jessie Diggins’ Favorite Things social media contest will be announced.
