Liv Cycling Unveils All-New Tempt Mountain Bike Series

Liv’s new Tempt offers versatile, confidence-inspiring ride for women seeking entry level off-road adventures

NEWBURY PARK, Calif. (Aug. 18, 2020) – Liv Cycling, the company dedicated to getting more women on bikes, introduced the new Tempt series today built for women seeking the perfect bike for their first off-road adventure. Available in either 29-inch or 27.5-inch wheel sizes, the new Tempt series is the ideal entry level off-road bike that is versatile enough to race on singletrack or ride around town.

“We built the new Tempt series with a sport trail geometry and split wheel sizing to provide entry level off-road riders with a wider range of bike fit and ride experience options,” said Ludi Scholz, Liv Cycling’s off-road category manager. “Tempt strikes a strong balance between sport and performance with an affordable price range and the inclusion of performance-oriented features like internal cable routing and dropper seatpost compatibility.”

Built using Liv’s 3F design philosophy, the Tempt lineup features a lightweight, capable and durable ALUXX-Grade Aluminum frame designed specifically for women. The geometry and frame design on this hardtail off-road bike also includes a low standover height to ensure the rider is balanced for optimal efficiency, comfort and control when riding on dirt trails.

Confidence Inspiring

The Tempt series is available in a wide range of frame and wheel sizes allowing riders to find the best fit and ride experience. The models with 27.5-inch wheels are available in frame sizes XS, S, and M while the models with 29-inch wheels are available in frame sizes S, M and L. Different drivetrain setups are also offered, allowing riders to choose based on their preference of either a single or double chainring crankset. The front suspension fork features 80mm of travel on the XS 27.5-inch wheel bikes, and 100mm on the S, M, and L 27.5-inch and 29-inch wheel bikes for a smooth and confident ride.

Built for Adventure

The Tempt is compatible with a kickstand, fenders and racks to easily carry accessories, while 30.9mm dropper seatpost compatibility gives riders the flexibility to upgrade and ride more aggressive off-road terrain. Tempt also features internal cable routing that provides a sleek look while protecting cables from the elements. With clearance of up to 2.4-inch width tires for either 29-inch or 27.5-inch wheels and powerful disc brakes, the Tempt is perfect for gritty off-road adventures.
