Longmont, Colo. (May 24, 2017) — Native Eyewear, a Colorado-based goggle and sunglass company, has announced the addition of three elite athletes to its ambassador team. Native’s new athletes will join a team of ambassadors who put Native’s eyewear line to the test and help spread brand awareness. Created for weekend warriors and performance athletes alike, Native Eyewear offers top-of-the-line protective eyewear with superior contrast-enhancing optics and durable frames.
The following athletes recently signed on to Native’s ambassador program:
Nina Williams: Nina is a professional climber currently residing in Boulder, Colorado. Since the age of 12, Nina has been competing in bouldering competitions on a local and national level and has recently began exploring highball bouldering. Her favorite places to climb include Rocklands, South Africa, Bishop, California and Yosemite, California.

Chad Otterstrom: Chad is a snowboarder based in Colorado who will soon move into his van, or what he calls “the adventure mobile”, full time. A wanderer at heart, Chad moved from Breckenridge to Aspen where he coaches The Aspen Valley Snowboard Club, and will work with Academy Snowboards beginning this spring. In addition to riding, Chad is a writer and photographer, and recently finished designing his own snowboard line called the Graduate Series, which will be available Fall 2017.

Walter Wood: Raised by two ski patrollers in Colorado, Walter was raised to appreciate and love the sport of skiing. After competing in every discipline of skiing, Walter found his niche in freeskiing, and represented the United States at World Cups and X Games before a national team was established. In his free time at home in Salt Lake City, you can find Walter ripping down The Bobsled on his mountain bike, fooling around at Snowbird, or building a jump in Grizzly Gulch with fellow Native Ambassador, Rob Aseltine.

Existing Native athletes include Romi Kristi, a snowboarder based in Denver, Colorado, Iris Lazzareschi, a snowboarder in Jackson, Wyoming, Rob Aseltine, a skier based in Salt Lake City, Utah, among many others.
The Native team consists of a wide range of talented individuals who embody the company’s mantra of Roam Free to their core. They’re innovative, fun-loving, performance-driven, ambitious, and eco-conscious. They know the areas they call home like the back of their hand and yet are motivated by an insatiable desire to seek out new places and experiences. Native is proud to support these individuals and their missions to push boundaries, never stop exploring, and encourage others to be better citizens of the world.
