High-volume, ultra-breathable tent series stays cool and dry on warm-weather adventures
SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle-based Mountain Safety Research® (MSR®), the high-performance outdoor equipment brand, introduces the all-mesh Zoic™ Tent Series, a lightweight, spacious and ultra-livable 3-season tent designed for maximum breathability and comfort across a variety of adventures. From trailhead to remote mountain lake camping, the MSR Zoic Tent Series is designed to help backpackers rest up for more productive days of adventuring.
“Simply put, new backpackers want more comfort in their lightweight tent,” says Terry Breaux, tents and shelter category manager at MSR. “That’s why we gave the Zoic a roomy floor plan that accommodates popular 25 inch mattresses, plus extra head and shoulder room and excellent stargazing.”
The 3-season models’ full micromesh canopy keeps casual and seasoned backpackers cool and dry on warm nights and comes with MSR’s precision engineering and durability to create a lightweight backpacking tent at a great value. The Zoic tent series weighs just 1.5 kg (3 lb 5 oz) for the 1-person model, 1.97 kg (4 lb 6 oz) for the 2-person model and just 2.45 kg (5 lb 7 oz) for the 3-person model.
New Tents Deliver Maximum Livability and Value
Comfort is a priority with the Zoic Tent Series. That’s why they feature a spacious floor plan and steep walls, offering a roomy interior with generous head and shoulder space, easily fitting two 25 in. mattresses. Combined with this abundance of sleeping space, built-in gear lofts deliver plenty of storage capacity for keeping essential equipment organized.
The Zoic’s freestanding system uses a hubbed pole for fast and easy setup. All models feature a fast and light freestanding setup option with rainfly and Fast & Light™ Body, sold separately.
The model also features MSR’s Xtreme Shield™ System. The Xtreme Shield system utilizes an ultra-durable waterproof coating that lasts up to 3x longer than standard coatings, as well as precision, watertight seams. Together, they deliver weatherproof performance that endures for many seasons of adventures. MSRP $299.95 – $399.95
