Nike Swim Introduces Gear Collection with High-Performance Training Aids

PORTLAND, Ore. (Jan. 7, 2019) – This winter, Nike Swim unveils its first-ever gear collection, complete with training aids and equipment to build speed, strength and achieve optimum performance in the water. Available now, the collection includes: Nike Swim Fins, Nike Kickboard, Nike Hand Paddles, Nike Pull Buoy, Nike Ear Plugs, Nike Nose Clip, and the Nike Swim Roll-Top Backpack.

The Nike Swim Training Aids and Gear Collection were designed with both the performance and everyday athletes in mind to take them to the next level in the water. Nike Swim is committed to making performance gear and swimwear for all athletes, and the training aid expansion rounds out the current performance offerings perfectly.

The Nike Swim Fins (MSRP $45) are designed for building speed and endurance in the pool. Featuring a shorter dual-durometer fin blade that provides support and flexibility, Nike Swim Fins are optimally constructed to produce maximum propulsion with each kick. The Fins’ open toe box features grooves for superior grip and 100% silicone construction make these fins extremely comfortable during long training sets.

The Nike Kickboard (MSRP $22) is ideal for both new swimmers and experienced athletes helping to build leg strength and improve stability in kicking technique. Built with a soft injection-molded EVA foam, the Nike Kickboard features a convex shape and strategically placed texture to improve grip and positioning for increased comfort during training.

Ideal for building upper body strength, the Nike Hand Paddles (MSRP $22) feature a convex design ergonomically contoured to the hand with a soft outer edge that provides both comfort and safety. Strategically placed perforations allow for minimal water flow for increased resistance while reducing shoulder strain.

To build and maintain upper body strength while improving stroke form, the Nike Pull Buoy (MSRP $20) features an asymmetrical shape to customize the level of buoyancy while keeping legs afloat for varied levels of intensity during training. Made from soft, dense EVA foam, the Pull Buoy’s textured grip areas keep the buoy securely in place between legs.

For performance, fitness and recreational swimmers, the Nike Swim Ear Plugs (MSRP $7) are ideal for preventing swimmer’s ear, earaches and other conditions resulting from water entering the ears. Made from soft BPA free TPR rubber for comfort, the Ear Plugs feature a double flange design for a water-tight seal. A carrying case is included with the Ear Plugs for hygienic storage in a gym bag or backpack.

Engineered to minimize pressure on the nose bridge, the Nike Nose Clip (MSRP $7) features soft silicone padding in a low-profile BPA-free design providing a comfortable fit during training sessions. A carrying case is also included with the Nose Clip for hygienic storage when not in use.

Finally, the Nike Swim Roll Top Backpack (MSRP $60) is equipped to carry Nike Swim gear and other Nike accessories. With adjustable capacity for oversized items, the Nike Swim Roll Top Backpack features a fleece-lined exterior zip pocket designed to store goggles while preventing scratching. Breathable mesh panels on the side and back of the Backpack enhance airflow and speed up dry time.
