Nuu-Muu Introduces the Elemental Dress Collection

Bellingham, WA (December 12, 2017) – Nuu-Muu, makers of fun and versatile athleisure dresses, debuts their latest line: The Elemental Collection. Drawing inspiration from the simplicity of nature’s elements, their newest prints combine energy, movement and balance.

Designer Enid Wilson used a Q-tip to create the original prints exhibited in the new patterns. Wilson’s designs mimic the beauty of rippling water, swaying grasses, rain, starry nights, wind and clouds.

“I like the slight imperfections and complexities found in hand drawn art as opposed to imagery created start to finish on a computer,” states Wilson. “At the same time, I wanted the dots to have a bit more consistency than my brush was allowing so I decided to stamp the dots using a Q-tip and it worked perfectly…tedious, but the end result was what I was looking for.”

The Elemental Collection is available just in time for the holiday shopping season and comes in all three Nuu-Muu styles: the Scoop (lower-neckline with back pocket), the Ruu-Muu (keyhole neckline with back pocket), and the Classic Nuu-Muu (keyhole neckline without a back pocket) in sizes XS-3XL.

Rain [below] is a perfect everyday dress with a subtle pop of light blue on a deep brown background. The mesmerizing pattern of lines is reminiscent of rain cascading down a window.

Night is the perfect travel or out-on-the-town dress. Its black background with white and purple star tracks is infinitely versatile and flattering.

Earth features delicate swirling patterns in rich earthy tones and pairs well with a cozy sweater on a chilly day around town.

Heaven lights up any gray day. Featuring swirls of blue/purple/green in a dreamy pattern, this travel-ready dress lets you escape the ordinary.
