Outdoor Market Alliance to Host Second Rockies Media Show

Denver-based Media Show highlights outdoor brands, collaborative business model

January 19th, 2023 – DENVER, CO /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – The Outdoor Market Alliance (OMA), the emerging outdoor industry hub in the Denver metro area, has announced its second seasonal Rockies Media Show, kicking off in Denver on February 22nd and 23rd. Following a successful inaugural media show in September of 2022, the OMA anticipates growth in the number of exhibiting brands and attending media at the February media preview.

A collective of 25 independent sales and marketing agencies representing over 175 outdoor and active lifestyle brands, the OMA has emerged as a collaborative epicenter amongst outdoor industry brands, sales agencies, and now, media.

Over 35 media gathered at the OMA headquarters in Lakewood, Colorado last September, circulating within and outside the space to discover hundreds of new products while engaging with dozens of notable outdoor and active lifestyle gear and apparel brands. OMA is anticipating an uptick at the media show next month, with over a dozen PR agencies representing over 25 brands signed on so far to introduce fresh gear and potential stories to attending media.

Beyond sharing new, modern showroom spaces, the OMA is a collective of small businesses sharing resources and supporting community and industry initiatives through its non-profit association. It’s also a year-round destination for outdoor specialty retailers and their buyers who can now visit and do business with nearly 200 brands in one convenient and permanent location. The OMA has hosted two successful market weeks for its respective retailers, who can visit their brands and sales representatives any day of the year. The next retailer market week is slated for June 5-9.
