Registration Opens for the 2023 America Outdoors Conference

Conference helps outfitters improve in marketing, risk management, and leadership

August 30, 2023 – Knoxville, TN /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Registration is open for the 2023 America Outdoors Conference and Outfitter Expo, taking place in Phoenix, Arizona December 5-8. The America Outdoors Conference is designed for owners and managers of organizations that deliver outdoor experiences. Attendees will enjoy education sessions, roundtable discussions, networking events, and a trade show–all curated to help grow business and better serve the America Outdoors membership base and the professional outfitter community.

This year’s conference will help outfitters and their staff tackle challenges in the areas of risk mitigation and management, marketing, policy, leadership and operations. As an industry, we are going to explore how to foster a sense of belonging in outfitter organizations by discussing burnout and resilience, feedback, and outfitter training practices.

During the conference, America Outdoors will recognize two industry leaders via the George and Pamela Wendt Industry Achievement Award and the new Innovator Award, both to be presented on December 7th. To nominate an individual for either award, please fill out this form before the September 15 deadline.

This year’s host hotel will be the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, located just two blocks away from the Phoenix Convention Center, where the conference will take place. Attendees are encouraged to look at the selection of add-ons upon registration. America Outdoors is excited to offer pre-conference sessions and excursions, including a kayak tour on the Lower Salt River and a mountain bike tour in the Sonoran Desert outside of Phoenix.
