Stio Announces First California Mountain Studio® Location in South Lake Tahoe

JACKSON, Wyo. (December 8, 2022)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Stio, the mountain lifestyle brand headquartered in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is excited to open its first California storefront with the announcement of the brand’s newest Mountain Studio® location in South Lake Tahoe. The retail space will be Stio’s second store opening in 2023, and ninth in a growing list of the brand’s owned brick & mortar as it pursues coast-to-coast expansion.

Just steps away from the gondola at Heavenly Ski Resort, the Mountain Studio will be located at 4101 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, Suite 300 in the Zalanta Resort at The Village joining an assortment of other outdoor brands and local shops within the area. The store will have an expected opening date of Spring 2023.

In the last year, Stio has grown from five Mountain Studio locations to nine — its largest retail growth arc in 10 years of operations. The most recent installment of Stio’s national expansion strategy includes a storefront in Boston’s Seaport District. Scheduled to open January 6th, the store will be Stio’s second East Coast location and its most urban setting yet. Additionally, the brand anticipates announcing up to two additional new locations by the end of 2023.
