Stio Appoints Alex Brown as Vice President of Sales

JACKSON, Wyo. (September 7, 2022)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Stio, the mountain lifestyle brand headquartered in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is pleased to announce the hiring of Alex Brown as the brand’s new vice president of sales. In this role, Brown will lead the strategy and development of Stio’s wholesale and corporate channels as it looks to expand the brand’s omni-channel offerings.

As a brand built primarily with a direct-to-consumer sales approach, Stio created this role to serve as a catalyst for tapping into new growth opportunities. With over 20 years of experience in the industry and a proven track record in driving sales, growth and brand awareness, Brown will be instrumental in shifting operational processes and driving cross functional strategies to facilitate a more balanced omni-channel business.

Most recently, Brown served as the vice president of sales at Merrell where he led a team of 60 sales professionals across each of the brand’s wholesale channels. Prior to that role, Brown worked as the senior sales director at The North Face where he served as the sales lead for the brand’s lifestyle channel.
