Strafe Outerwear Debuts Fall 2017 Collection Featuring Polartec and eVent

ASPEN, Colo. (September 12, 2017) — Strafe Outerwear, a technical outerwear brand motivated by living life in the mountains, announces the availability of its 2017/18 apparel line dedicated to skiers and riders who push the limits in alpine pursuits.

The collection draws inspiration from Strafe’s home in the Elk Mountains and Aspen Highlands Ski Area. Purpose-built to perform in alpine environments, Strafe’s 2017-18 line utilizes innovative materials, including Polartec NeoShell, Polartec Alpha insulation, custom 3-layer eVent fabric and Primaloft insulation. Developed in collaboration with mountain athletes, including Matchstick Productions’ Connery Lundin and Level 1 Productions’ Thayne Rich, and tested in Strafe’s backyard, this line caters to the technical and stylistic demands of real skiers and snowboarders, whether they are summiting high backcountry peaks or lapping the lifts at their local resorts.

Pyramid Jacket and Capitol Pants: Employing Polartec’s award-winning NeoShell fabric, the Pyramid Jacket (MSRP: $549) and Capitol Pants (MSRP: $449) provide an unprecedented combination of supple stretch with the highest level of breathable waterproof protection available today. The Pyramid Jacket features an integrated, helmet-compatible hood with three-point adjustment, exposed underarm vents and large, pack-friendly chest pockets.

Meadow Jacket and Scarlett Bib: A high-performance shell kit for the female shredder, the Meadow Jacket (MSRP: $499) and Scarlett Bib (MSRP: $469) features a custom 3-layer eVent fabric providing full protection from the elements while maintaining a stylish aesthetic. The Scarlet Bib has a unique halter top design allowing for quick layering adjustments and convenient nature stops. The Meadow Jacket sports a magnet snap closure at the collar placket, a fleece-lined collar for extra comfort, and pack-friendly seamless shoulders.

Ozone and Eden Jackets: The Ozone (MSRP: $599) and Eden (MSRP: $579) insulated jackets for men and women, respectively, blend Polartec’s award-winning Alpha Insulation with its new 4-way stretch NeoShell face fabric to deliver warmth with a high degree of breathability for high-output activity. Both jackets include a removable powder skirt, Polartec Power Dry cuffs with thumbholes, and strategically placed pockets for ample storage.
