Sun Valley, Idaho (March 2, 2021)–The 2021-22 winter season passes for Sun Valley Resort are on sale from March 1, 2021 with special early pricing and enhanced benefits. With the purchase of any Challenger Pass, Sun Valley’s season pass which includes unlimited and unrestricted season-long skiing and riding, individuals will receive the added benefit of free spring skiing if paid in full during the initial pricing period.
There are three Challenger pass options for different age ranges; The Challenger Season Pass for ages 30 plus, The Young Adult Challenger Season Pass for ages 13 to 29, and the Child Challenger Season Pass for ages 5 to 12. All of these offer unlimited skiing and riding at both Bald and Dollar Mountains, as well as other benefits, including 20% off lodging at any of the Grand America Hotels & Resorts properties.
The Sun & Snow pass is back this year by popular demand. This pass offers six days of skiing at two renowned mountains, Sun Valley Resort and sister resort Snowbasin, with no black-out dates or restrictions. Sun & Snow pass holders are also able to use the added benefit of using the 50% off lift ticket pricing in the 2021 – 2022 early season before using the six days of skiing during peak season.
New this year is the season pass comparison chart providing a snapshot of all of Sun Valley’s season passes so individuals and families can choose the right pass for them.
Sun Valley Resort continues the complimentary Season Pass Protection Program for the 2021-2022 season. This program provides pass holders peace of mind during these unprecedented times. The Pass Protection Programs covers all Challenger, College, Freedom Found, 15 Day Plus, Sun & Snow, and Dollar Mountain pass holders if their season is cut short due to the personal events: injury, military service, pregnancy, or a stay-at-home orders issued by county, state or country.
Spring skiing starts when the weather begins to warm up, usually around March 15. Sun Valley Resort offers some of its best lodging deals of the year, including:
