PMI’s Stanley brand continues pushing innovation, for over 100 years, with spring 2020 collection
SEATTLE, WA (June 12, 2019) –When he created the world’s first all-steel vacuum-insulated bottles, William Stanley Jr. single handedly changed the way the world enjoys their drinks of choice. Perhaps one of the greatest inventors of his time, often compared to the likes of Edison and Tesla, William Stanley Jr.’s legacy continues to push his namesake’s team to bring innovations to the thermalware market. As the one invention that still bears his name, the Stanley brand of products remain as relevant and part of the everyday, even after a century, and the new spring 2020 items are no exception.
“We have a responsibility to steer this strong, heritage brand through the next century and the best way for us to pay homage to our past is to always seek ‘what’s next’. It’s ingrained into the brand’s spirit with our roots and founder’s story,” explains Lisa Wood, Global Marketing Director of PMI’s Stanley brand. “We love hearing stories of new fans rediscovering the brand, an iconic part of the outdoor experience, and we look forward to another 100 years of tales.”
For spring 2020, PMI’s Stanley brand rethinks outdoor cooking and doesn’t settle for anything less than luxe. The Even-Heat Camp Pro Cook Set (MSRP $140) is a veritable kitchen-in-a-box and has everything needed to cook an incredible meal outdoors, with prepping and cooking. The nesting system boasts kitchen-grade, 3-ply pots and pans for even heating, saving meals from hot spots and scorching.
The 11-piece set includes:
- 18/8 stainless steel stock pot 4.75qt/4.5L
- 18/8 stainless steel sauce pan 1.8qt/1.8L
- Vented lids
- Frying pan 8.5in/21.5cm diameter
- Collapsible cutting board
- Spatula with 2-piece handle
- Spoon with 2-piece handle
- Trivets
- Locking bungee
Besides rethinking outdoor cooking, the Stanley brand is also taking on the favored and trusted ceramic mug. With the introduction of Ceramivac™ technology – a proprietary technique combining the feel of ceramic with the thermal retentions and durability of double-wall vacuum insulated stainless steel – Stanley proves it’s possible to take creature comforts of ceramic on the go. For spring 2020 another Stanley original, the Ceramivac™ Go TravelMug(MSRP $40/$35/$30) hits shelves. The addition of a bellows-style lid renders this travel mug completely leakproof and packable, the first of its kind; it can still be disassembled and is dishwasher safe for a thorough cleaning. There’s also a low-profile handle for a sure grip and on-the-go comfort, but the mug still fits in a standard cup holder and doesn’t take up extra space in the cupboard.
The new spring 2020 collection and other Stanley brand products will be on display at the Summer Market Outdoor Retailer in Denver, June 18 – 20, 2019 (booth # 42096).
