World Pro Ski Tour Prepares for Aspen Mountain Season Opener

December 17, 2024 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – The World Pro Ski Tour (WPST) race schedule has been confirmed and will open the 2025 race season at Aspen Mountain on Friday, January 10th, for an epic weekend of professional ski racing and fun! The Aspen Snowmass Tour stop will feature two men’s and two women’s professional dual slalom races on Aspen Mountain’s Little Nell run.
With a thrilling lineup of top athletes from around the globe, the WPST is excited to showcase the incredible talent and competitive spirit that define professional ski racing. “We’re excited to return to the incomparable Aspen Mountain to kick off the 2025 WPST season,” says Christopher Neary, the new Chairman of the World Pro Ski Tour. Fans can look forward to an action-packed weekend filled with not only exhilarating races but also opportunities to interact with the ski community and experience the vibrant atmosphere of Aspen Snowmass.
In addition to the races, there will be various tour vendors on-site with products for sale and fun giveaways. This year’s event promises to be one for the books as the WPST continues to elevate the sport and inspire the next generation of skiers.

2025 WPST Aspen Race Schedule
January 9th: Athlete Registration, 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
January 10th: Pro Qualifiers (Men & Women), 12:00 PM
January 11th: Colorado Pro Open, presented by Mazda (Men & Women), 11:00 AM
January 12th: Aspen Pro Open, presented by Celsius (Men & Women), 11:00 AM
The WPST Aspen stop will host qualifiers and four separate pro races (two men’s and two women’s), where athletes meet on the hill for a dual super slalom, single-elimination, bracket-style competition akin to drag racing on snow.
The WPST is viewed in more than 100 million homes and can be seen in primetime on FOX Sports Network and live streamed on the World Pro Ski Tour’s YouTube channel, website, Facebook Live and more.
